    Are the storage room prices fixed quotes?

    No. £10,000, £20,000 and £35,000 are guide starting prices for Options 1, 2 and 3. Your written quote depends on the size of your loft, access, roof construction and the finish you choose, and follows a free phone consultation and an assessor visit.

    Is a loft storage room the same as a loft conversion?

    No. A storage room gives you a fully insulated, boarded, building-regulations-compliant space for your belongings, installed in as little as two to five days and at a fraction of the cost of a conversion. It is not a habitable room such as a bedroom. Tell us how you would like to use the space and we will advise.

    Do you just do loft boarding or ladders?

    Our storage rooms are complete, insulated spaces rather than boarding on its own, which is why they start from £10,000. If you are only looking for boarding, a ladder or a hatch, call us and we will point you in the right direction.

    How long does installation take?

    Most loft insulation installs are completed in a day. Storage rooms typically take two to five days depending on the option and the size of your loft, and we agree the timescale with you before we start.

    What guarantees do you offer?

    All RJ insulation comes with a lifetime guarantee for as long as your home stands. Separately, your installation is covered by a five-year insurance-backed warranty from the IWA (Independent Warranty Association). Ask our team for the full terms.
